Because every photograph should tell a story... and I know how to make them talk.

Beginner’s Photography Foundation

As needless as it may seem these days to take a photograph setting the exposure manually (since almost all cameras come with auto presets claiming to suit almost any lighting condition), yet the fact remains, that there is no alternative for acquiring the desired picture but, to set the exposure manually.

The "manual exposure over-ride", gives you the control over the amount of light that flows in through the lens aperture and the duration it flows in through by way of shutter-speed, hence guaranteeing the desired result with every click. And that is what we strive to teach!

At the end of the workshop the students will get a chance to exhibit their work and bask in the glory of their creation. They can then further hone their skill with the The Advanced Photography Workshops.

So brace yourself for 50-hours of hardcore photography and we promise, it will prepare you to capture, a lifetime worth of memorable images.

About the Instructor

I have had the privilege of teaching photography and filmmaking at Iqra University, Karachi University, and NAPA, and I have also served as a Member of the Board of Studies for Media Sciences at Greenwich University. I designed the photography and filmmaking curriculum for Iqra University, where my subjects included Photography, Film Direction, Art Direction, and Cinematography. These experiences have shaped how I teach — simple, practical, and focused on what truly matters.

In addition to class sessions we will have field trips where shooting in diverse environment and challenging lighting conditions will put to test your newly acquired skills.
